What is Systems Thinking ?

Peter M Senge wrote about systems thinking in his book "Fifth Discipline" in 1990. He wrote: "Systems thinking is a discipline for seeing wholes. It is a framework for seeing interrelationships rather than things, for seeing patterns of change rather than static snapshots." And then Brian Hinken help us to learn how to implement this way of thinking by a scheme called "Double Loop Learning Matrix".

Innovation activities involve learning activities, and Systems Thinking is the foundation of a learning organization, that's why I write down this topic in this blog.

You can learn more by reading that Peter M. Senge's book or you can visit some websites that discuss systems thinking, such as: http://www.thinking.net/Systems_Thinking/, http://www.systems-thinking.org/, or just find it by search engine.
