Digital Photo Retouch

The original photo is a color one, but the lighting is very poor, very low contrast and there's some distortions at the scan result. So I used Photoshop CS to adjust lighting, contrast, Black & White setting, framing and apply "soft-focus" effect to make the skin, towel & background look soft but the main object still has good focus.
