Megathrust Earthquake hits Asia & Africa :(

Megathrust Earthquake - about 9 Richter scale - hits Asia & Africa, creates tsunamis - very huge seawaves up to 10 meters high - to many places, made a lot of casualities in many countries from Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, Somalia and other countries. The earthquake also moved small islands as much as 20 metres, according to one expert.

"That earthquake has changed the map," US Geological Survey expert told AFP. And it also incredibly made the earth woble in its axis, so actually we're all affected by this nature's power.

Amazing Photo

Here is one example of how we can restore a photo to look better. It's my friend's photo with a poor lighting and red ink all around it (see "before"), so I improved the pic resolution, removed the red ink & other objects that distort the beauty of the image, cropped it, added "soft focus" effect and varied the color level, and u can see the result (see "after", click to enlarge). Digital Photo Retouch

The original photo is a color one, but the lighting is very poor, very low contrast and there's some distortions at the scan result. So I used Photoshop CS to adjust lighting, contrast, Black & White setting, framing and apply "soft-focus" effect to make the skin, towel & background look soft but the main object still has good focus.
